What us Galaxy's Pin Up?
Galaxy’s Pin Up is a fanzine dedicated to the men of Star Wars. Issue 1: Anakin SkywalkerWhat is the Zine Rating?
Zine will be 18+, therefore all participants must be 18+Will there be ships?
While we ask not to have fully explicit ships as to focus on the essential character, ship adjacent hints can be placed into the zine. For example: Anakin with Rex’s helmet, Anakin wearing Padme’s outfits, Anakin with Obi-Wan’s light saber, etc.
All shippers are allowed to participate. We will not tolerate harassing behavior towards contributors or to the zine itself and will result in a block. Any participants who partake in harassment will be asked to leave.

Moderator
Moderator is Hazel (he/they) Obi-nob-kenobi on twitter/tumblr, and das_hazel instagramHazel has moderated 5 fanzines and written/produce 1 original zine. As a mod, Hazel has all around experience in social media management, zine layout, project management, shop/ecommerce, and shipment.

Schedule
• Official Announcement: November 12th
• Creative Period: November 12th -March 9th
• Pre-Order period: April 2024
• Estimated Shipment: May 2024
Zine Specs
Size: US Trade 6x9, estimated 30 pages perfect bound
This will be a for-profit zine with all profits split equally among all contributors. Contributors will also be receiving a copy of the zine.Artists
• Artists will be responsible for creating one zine-exclusive illustration. Artists will have one full page for their work. Comics are also accepted.
• Detailed or rendered backgrounds are not necessary, however your final piece must be finished.
• Zine size is 6x9 US trade so adjust your canvas as needed. We suggest to have 600dpi and a canvas size of 3600x5400 pixels.
• Horizontal illustrations will be accepted but will be confined to one page.
• Get creative! It can be a simple illustration of Anakin waking up in bed, naked but covered, a sexy model shoot, his selfies for his dating profile etc.
• Final piece must depict Anakin Skywalker
Writers
• Writers are responsible for providing one zine-exclusive work between 500-2000 words. Please stick to the limitations of the word count.
• Titles or Headers are necessary
• Beta readers will not be provided for this zine so to the best of your abilities please take care to grammar and punctuation. You may seek a beta within or outside the zine as we will credit promptly
• Be creative with the writing portion. You can choose to write a fic dedicated to Anakin, poetry, a gossip column, etc, so long as the contents focus on Anakin Skywalker.
• Example: An Interview with The Chosen One or a fanfic in Obi-Wan’s POV that admires Anakin.
• Final piece must focus on Anakin Skywalker
Cosplay
• Cosplayers are responsible for one zine-exclusive photo. Cosplayers will have one full page for their photo.
• Zine size is 6x9 US trade so adjust your photos as needed.
• Horizontal photos will be accepted but will be confined to one page.
• As this is a pin up zine you may choose how to pose and what you want to be shown. This zine can be sensual to explicit so choose your pose/photo to your own comfort level.
• Final piece must resemble Anakin Skywalker
